Application For Membership
 |
Every
application for membership shall be proposed and seconded by two
existing members and shall be forwarded to the secretary who shall, at first convenient opportunity submit it to
the committee for approval. The committee mat at it’s
discretion, reject any application without assigning any reason
thereof.

| Every
applicant whose application has been approved as a foresaid shall,
upon payment of the prescribed entrance fee and first annual
subscription be admitted as a member of the institute and shall be
entitled to all the rights, privileges and benefits of membership. |

RIGHTS,
PRIVILEGES, AND BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP.
|
Individual
members and nominated staff of corporate or institutional members will
be:

Accorded
special rates as the
Institute may determine from time for
participation in it’s programmes and activities.
Given
access to the Institute’s library, lecture rooms, facilities, film
audio-visual aids and equipments, subjected to prevailing rules
governing their rules governing their usages.
|
Individual
member may enjoy professional accreditation by using after their names
the title of FIMSM, MIMS or AIMS, according to the category of
membership that have been granted by the Institute
|
|
For
the purpose of these rules, member(s) shall refer both individual and
corporate or institutional
member (s) and all members will be referred to as a male gender unless
stated stated otherwise.
|
| Certificate
of Membership remains the property of the institute and has to be
surrendered to the Institute when ceasing to become a member for
whatever reason (s) |
